Katas and belt grades

Our katas are based on a similar kata structure to Ashihara and Enshin karate styles with 10 combinations to complete facing in all directions while taking on multiple attackers. 

Our kata segments are broken down into:
Shoshin (beginner) 
Kihon (Intermediate)
Kumite (Fighting)
Nage (Throwing and takedowns) 
Jissen (Real fighting) 
Sabaki (Movement) 
Tsuyoi (Conditioning and power) 

Our belt system goes as follows:
White, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Brown and Black.
Each belt rank has 3 black stripes to show your progression then a green stripe to signify you are ready to grade.

It takes on average 6-8 years to achieve a Shodan Black belt) rank with regular training
